From Lab to Market
New executive program Deep Tech to Market
Main objective: To train professionals, innovation teams and ecosystem agents to transform cutting-edge scientific technologies into viable, scalable and globally competitive business models. The program helps overcome the challenges inherent to deep tech: demanding development cycles, specific regulatory frameworks and the need for highly strategic financing. To address these challenges, the course provides agile tools and methodologies aimed at accelerating the transition from the laboratory to the global market, taking as a reference the successful models of the most advanced ecosystems in the world.
Over the five weeks (15 teaching hours), the main technology transfer mechanisms such as the creation of spin-offs, license management, intellectual property strategies, international regulation and co-investment models will be worked on in a practical way.
At the end of the sessions, each participant will have developed a personalized Deep Tech Commercialization Plan adapted to their own context through applied workshops.
From November 13 to December 12, 2026, through the UPC School: Fridays from 6 to 8 p.m., in live online mode (live virtual class) and Saturday, December 12, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the UPC School (carrer de Badajoz, 73, Barcelona).
