Fractus supports tech talent through the Fractus-UPC Deep Tech Hub

Fractus awarded the Fractus Prize to the best academic record of the Master’s degree in Technology and Engineering Management to the student Laia Martínez Capella. The delivery took place during the graduation ceremony of more than 850 students from the School of Industrial, Aeronautical and Audiovisual Engineering of Terrassa (ESEIAAT) of the UPC.

Feb 10, 2024. This initiative is part of the company’s commitment to supporting talent, especially technological talent, which is increasingly in demand. The first study carried out by the Spanish Engineering Observatory concludes that it is a profession with barely 2% unemployment.

According to Carmen Borja, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Fractus, “it is an honor for Fractus to support the talent of young students and give them the opportunity to create new projects that contribute innovation to society, facing new challenges and needs that may arise. Supporting talent is a very important part of the mission of the Fractus-UPC Deep Tech Hub, especially if we take into account that, in the next decade, some 200,000 new engineers will be needed in Spain alone.” Read more
