The UPC shows its muscle and entrepreneurial talent

From February 27 to March 2, the UPC showed its entrepreneurial spirit at the Four Years From Now (4YFN) event. More than thirty technology-based spin-offs and start-ups, led by UPC students, alumni or research staff, have attended this international meeting of the innovation ecosystem.
The start-ups corner of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech (UPC) at 4YFN has presented 16 start-ups and spin-offs from very varied sectors, such as health, business and industry 4.0, agriculture and food, aerospace, construction, virtual reality, mobility and smart cities, energy, games and AI in digital marketing. Once again, the UPC is the university that has presented the most entrepreneurial initiatives at this event dedicated to start-ups, which took place at the Gran Via site of Fira de Barcelona at the same time as the Mobile World Congress (MWC).
It was also the beginning of the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Emprèn UPC program, a technological springboard that has contributed to the establishment of more than 380 companies. Read more
